Commercial Lawyer

GTS is pleased to be representing one of our key clients again in search for a new Commercial Lawyer for their legal team. As a Commercial Lawyer, you will provide dedicated legal support to the company’s commercial and procurement functions. Working closely with the part-time Legal Counsel and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in mitigating risk, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and ensuring legal compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, support procurement operations, and influence complex contractual matters while protecting the company’s interests. As the commercial lawyer, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements. As the commercial lawyer, you will advise on contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with legal standards while mitigating risks to the business. : As the commercial lawyer, you will provide legal expertise to the procurement team, drafting and reviewing procurement contracts, supplier agreements, and tender documents. Legal Risk Management: As the commercial lawyer, you will Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial agreements. As the commercial lawyer, Collaborate with Legal Counsel and senior management to implement risk mitigation strategies. Skills and Experience Required: Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in commercial law. Strong expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts. Proven ability to provide legal advice on procurement and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in claims management and dispute resolution is desirable. Some knowledge in anti-bribery and corruption policies is advantageous.
