Strategic Supplier Manager | Corporate Services | Public Sector | Infrastructure Organisation Buckinghamshire Hybrid (1 day in office the rest remote) £70,000-£81,000 £6,000 car allowance competitive discounts & benefits Overview: As the Strategic Supplier Manager, you will be managing a team of 6 procurement professionals, you will be Accountable for leading the management and development of preferred suppliers and a select number of strategic suppliers, working with relevant customers and stakeholders, to drive the fullest overall cost, risk, relationship and performance value Key Responsibilities: Leadership of 10 to 15 preferred suppliers and a select number of strategic suppliers, utilising the full implementation of the Supplier Management Framework. Working collaboratively with the relevant Strategic Category Manager/s and Strategic Sourcing Manager/s, together with all relevant customers and stakeholders (e.g. at ‘Heads of’ level), to drive the fullest overall cost, risk, relationship and performance value Delivery of on-going and significant savings throughout the contract and relationship life cycle, underpinned by leadership of incremental cost, service and overall value derivation Establish a collaborative way of working with owned suppliers, relevant customers and stakeholders, to execute the Supplier Management Framework. Support the operational owners of the contracts in their day-to-day accountabilities with their supplier/s Execution of the Meeting Governance Framework for specifically led suppliers, to include executive sponsorship at Route Finance Director level Identification of evolving business requirements throughout the contract and relationship life cycle, to include contract change and demand management activities Recognised for their Supplier Management expertise, providing specialist advice Skills and experience required: Leadership experience Educated to a degree standard or equivalent and MCIPS qualified (or equivalent professional body with chartered status) Experience of leading supplier contracts and relationships with senior level engagement Line management experience Solution driven, innovator, cost and value led Experience with cross-functional collaborative working methods Politically aware, with the ability to use direct and indirect influencing strategies Demonstrable level of problem-solving experience and in large, complex organisations Relationship, cost, risk and value led, with the ability to deliver significant defined relationship and commercial value For more information, please apply directly or for more information please email: bethtalentdrive.co.uk Thank you
