IT Cloud & Infrastructure Analyst We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join a well-established organisation with operations across the global, including a presence in Glasgow. This role is integral to supporting the organisation’s ongoing migration to the cloud while maintaining and optimising their on-premises infrastructure. Collaborating closely with the Infrastructure and Cloud Architects, the successful candidate will help implement forward-thinking solutions to enhance the IT environment’s stability, security, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Cloud Migration and Implementation: Collaborate with Infrastructure and Cloud Architects to support and deliver cloud migration initiatives on platforms such as Azure or AWS. Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimise on-premises systems, including Nutanix, VMware, and server environments, while integrating these with cloud solutions. Networking and Security: Ensure the reliability and security of networking components, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, while implementing best practices for system security. Incident Management and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, execute routine maintenance, and ensure systems are secure and up to date. Disaster Recovery and Documentation: Develop and test disaster recovery plans, ensure backup systems are effective, and maintain detailed documentation for technical processes. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and on-premises technologies such as Nutanix, VMware, and server infrastructure. Experience in supporting cloud migration projects and integrating hybrid IT environments. Knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, and firewalls, with a focus on security.
