Liquid Hazardous Driver

We are currently seeking experianced HR Driver’s to join our fast-growing East Coast team and clients, on site in Creastmead (Logan). This position will be 6 months casual, with a view to move to permanent full time direct with the client. Hours worked will be an afternoon shift of 2pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday. Duties Include: Perform loading and unloading duties of liquid waste across a range of waste streams, which may include septic, industrial waste waters and packaged wastes. Maintain a professional image of the Company and deliver high quality customer service at all times. Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required. Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner. Experience & Qualifications Heavy Rigid (HR) Minimum Current dangerous goods license, not essential (Preferred) Knowledge and experience in the transportation of dangerous goods (Preferred) Vacuum loading experience– not essential – Training provided (Preferred) Waste Industry knowledge and experience (preferred) About You Ability to work in fast paced work environments with a strong work ethic. Possess great attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Be exceptionally organised, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure. Have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Be a team player.
