About the role Our client is seeking an experienced Site Foreperson in Commercial Plaster to lead their high-quality commercial construction projects. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. New projects are currently based in either Bendigo or Ararat. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for on-going projects. Tasks and Responsibilities Lead subcontractors, ensuring top-quality workmanship at every stage of the project. Oversee daily site operations, managing tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and safety. Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders and internal team members to keep the project on track. Adhere to construction schedules, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Oversee site planning, scheduling, and document control to ensure alignment with project specifications. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment on-site, providing guidance to all team members. Skills and Experience Ideally 5-10 years as a Site Foreman, within a 1st or 2nd Tier construction company environment. Proven track record of delivering top-tier results. Ability to motivate, manage, and inspire a skilled team of tradespeople. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards whilst delivering exceptional quality. Efficient approach to time management, with a focus on productivity during standard hours. Strong communication skills, with a preference for resolving issues through phone or face-to-face meetings rather than relying on emails.
