Test Director (Payments) Hybrid work environment Initial 6-month contract (with possible extensions) Melbourne Docklands Location Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement with our client partner for Test Director to join their team on a 6-month contract with potential extensions. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for the Cards transaction switch. Lead and manage testing efforts, ensuring the integration of unit, component, blackbox, performance, and security tests. Avoid reliance on end-to-end performance testing or functional tests for every release/change. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business and technical requirements. Provide guidance on modern testing practices and methodologies. Deliver test strategies effectively, ensuring successful implementation. Requirements: At least 15 years of experience in testing, including roles as a Test Director and Test SME. Proven experience in building and delivering test strategies, particularly for Cards transaction switches. Strong background in payments systems and financial services. Expertise in modern testing practices, including unit, component, blackbox, performance, and security testing. Strong delivery experience in test strategy for Cards transaction switch, with a proven track record of successful test management in the payments sector.
