Plant Operator

$40.41 per hour Penalties Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day Dandenong Site We are currently seeking experienced Plant Operator’s to join our fast-growing East Coast team and clients, on site in Dandenong, Victoria. This position will be 6 weeks casual duration with potential to extend or move to permanent with the client. Hours worked will be Monday and Tuesday, 8 am to 5pm, Wednesday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. Duties Include: Operating earthmoving equipment (ie. Material Handler, Frontend Loader, excavators, Fork Lift, Skid steer). Maintain a professional image and deliver high quality customer service at all times. Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading or compacting of waste or other materials. Excavate, load, transport soil, gravel and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations. Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Experience & Qualifications (Required) Front End Loader Experience Minimum RII’s or Certifications for Front End Loader, Excacator, Forklift, Skid Steer & Material Handler. (Preferred) Experience operating a side lift/left hand drive vehicle. Waste Industry knowledge and experience (preferred) About You Ability to work in fast paced work environments with a strong work ethic. Possess great attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Be exceptionally organised, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure. Have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Be a team player.
