Our client, Perth Material Recovery Facility (MRF), has reopened with the capacity to process over half of Western Australia’s commingled recycling. The $26 million facility has the capability to recover up to 90% of reusable products and deliver up to 99.5% purity across all fiber and plastic outputs. We are seeking Mechanical Fitters with previous fixed plant experience to work in South Guildford MRF. Monday to Friday on a shift work pattern. AM shift: 6am-3pm PM shift: 5pm-3am The successful candidate would be completing preventive and corrective maintenance on fixed plant equipment – Fast-moving conveyors, cleaning of working areas/motors/rollers. Given the nature of this work, you will be exposed to a dusty and noisy environment, and PPE must be used correctly at all times.
