Junior Packaging Technologist, Food Manufacturing Southwest England £28,000 - £36,000 Benefits This Junior Packaging Technologist role is an opportunity to work on NPD projects with a focus on innovative packaging. Here you’ll be part of a talented product development team, developing delicious products for the supermarket shelves. As a Junior Packaging Technologist in the team, your focus will be on ensuring each product has the right quality packaging that works in the factory and appeals to customers. You’ll ensure all packaging has the right costings and specifications and approve all artwork. You’ll work with the factory and process teams on factory trials and work with the procurement team, liaising with packaging suppliers. This Technologist role is ideal for someone interested in NPD and packaging who is detail-focused and highly organised. You’ll need some experience in either food manufacturing or packaging development with an understanding of the product launch process. You’ll be supported by the Packaging Manager and wider team to build up your knowledge of packaging development. You’ll get to work with leading UK retail customers and be involved in creative first-to-market product launches. This is a permanent Monday to Friday days role which requires the permanent right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship isn’t available.
