Our client, a leading player in the energy transition space, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the construction and delivery of cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other high-voltage infrastructure projects. With a strong focus on driving renewable energy solutions, this role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of net-zero advancements. What You’ll Do: Project Delivery: Lead projects from design through to energization, commissioning, and operational handover. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with local planning authorities, subcontractors, and grid operators. Technical Oversight: Manage design, construction, and grid connections, ensuring excellence in every phase. Budget Control: Oversee budgets, procurement, and project finances with precision. Health & Safety Leadership: Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and promote a safety-first culture. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience delivering HV infrastructure, BESS , or renewable energy projects, from development to energization. Strong background in civil engineering or related disciplines. Familiarity with managing EPC, MF1, and NEC3 contracts . Expertise in grid connections and working knowledge of tools like Microsoft Project and AutoCAD. NEBOSH or SMSTS qualification preferred. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
