Our client is at the forefront of delivering innovative tools that meet the evolving needs of their clients. This role will focus on designing and implementing applications related to investment propositions and enhancing their investment data platform. The right candidate will possess a blend of strong technical expertise and a pragmatic approach to software design, managing both team collaboration and individual contributions effectively. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop applications in close collaboration with stakeholders. Provide guidance on the overall technical architecture of the team’s solutions. Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in software engineering. Produce functional, technical, and design documentation as required. Contribute to the firmwide technical architect community, shaping overall architectural decisions and principles. Successful Candidate Profile: Demonstrates initiative and a 'can do' attitude. Motivated self-starter with genuine passion and drive for technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands. Confident in questioning assumptions regarding problem-solving and solution opportunities. Provides technical leadership where required on projects Considers internal and external project constraints and future requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Hands-on experience with technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services. Thorough understanding of web services architecture, microservices, and APIs. Experience working in a DevOps environment supporting agile software delivery. Ability to translate end-user requirements into detailed technical specifications. Strong experience in architectural design for large-scale web applications. Proficient in technical concepts with senior stakeholders.
