Export Business Development Manager

Job Opportunity: Export Business Development Manager – Construction & PPE Products Location: North Yorkshire – Onsite/Hybrid/Remote A growing, international business is looking for an experienced and driven Export Business Development Manager . This role offers the chance to work with Innovative construction and PPE products while expanding the company's international presence. The ideal candidate will be within a 2-hour drive of North Yorkshire at most in order to attend team meetings on a regular basis (once every 2 weeks or so). What You’ll Do: Lead and implement strategies to drive business growth in new and existing international markets. Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with key accounts, particularly in the construction and PPE sectors. Supervise the full export process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and logistics. Manage relationships with international customers and distributors, ensuring seamless execution of contracts and shipments. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and production) to achieve business objectives and growth goals. Travel internationally as needed to explore new markets, identify potential projects, and secure new customers. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in export management or B2B sales, ideally with a focus on international markets such as the USA and Middle East. Strong understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, Incoterms, and export documentation. Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with logistics software and export documentation. Multilingual proficiency is a plus. A goal-oriented, proactive individual with the ability to work independently and drive new opportunities. Ability to build strong, long-term relationships with international clients and distributors.
