Project Manager (Food)

The Company This leading food manufacturer is renowned for producing high-quality, innovative ambient products across multiple markets. As part of their continued growth in retail & foodservice channels, they are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join their team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement. The Role Reporting to the Head of Innovation & Process Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end launch of new ambient products. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire product development process, from initial concept through to market introduction, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, working closely with Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Technical teams to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the process. Your role will involve creating detailed project plans, defining timelines, managing critical paths, and identifying risks, ensuring that any potential challenges are mitigated. A key part of your responsibilities will also include conducting post-launch reviews to identify opportunities for improvement in future product development processes. The Person You will have project management experience within the food industry, specifically in product development and launch. A BSc in Business, Project Management, Food Science, or a related field is required. PMP certification is a plus. You will have a strong track record in managing cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing timelines and project needs. Speaking French is a plus, and occasional travel to UK and French sites will be required.
