Job Description
Job Title - Contracts Executive Location - Glasgow Salary - £25,400 ACES is a pioneering independent provider of NHS ophthalmic care in the community and patient care is at the heart of everything we do. Due to the continued growth of our services we have an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and proactive Contract Executive to support Contract Managers with administrative tasks related to accreditations for NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), specifically in the areas of Ophthalmology and Dermatology. The main purpose of the role is ensuring the smooth administration and timely progression of accreditation processes, as well as facilitating internal and external communication between key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: o Manage initial stage accreditation tasks for Ophthalmology and Dermatology services, ensuring the process is handled effectively and handed over to the Contract Manager for next-stage progression. o Regularly monitor and update policies relevant to accreditation requirements, ensuring all documentation remains compliant and up-to-date. o Track and monitor the progress of accreditation milestones, providing regular status updates to Contract Managers to ensure deadlines are met. o Support the monthly and quarterly meetings o Manage the on boarding process for new clinics and ICB contracts, ensuring smooth integration into the relevant pathways for referrals Communicate with NPE’s on referral pathways. o Support with ongoing research related to NHS ICBs, providing insights and updates to the Contract Managers regarding trends, changes, and new developments within the accreditation landscape. o Work closely with the Revenue Cycle team to monitor trends and potential issues, reporting key findings and ensuring contract managers are informed on financial and operational matters that may affect accreditation processes and/or relationships with ICB’s Skills & Qualifications: o Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or NHS-related environment, particularly related to accreditations or contract management, is preferred. o Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders effectively, including ICB teams, clinics, and internal ACES teams. o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) o A good understanding of NHS ICBs, accreditation processes, and healthcare contracts would be an advantage. o Ability to identify and address issues proactively, working independently or as part of a team to resolve challenges efficiently.
