About Our Client: Our client is a leading Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre , shaping the future of energy storage and innovation. To expand their reach, they are seeking a high-performing, results-oriented Sales Business Development Manager to join their team. Your Mission: As a Sales Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities. You will work closely with the Commercial Director and Business Development team to expand the company’s client base and establish long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Actively Seek Opportunities: Identify new market areas and opportunities to drive business growth. Manage a Robust Pipeline: Build and maintain a comprehensive prospect forecasting database to effectively manage leads. Create Winning Bids: Collaborate with the bid team to develop compelling proposals that highlight unique selling points and deliver tailored client solutions. Engage and Build Relationships: Interact directly with potential clients through phone calls, video meetings, emails, and in-person visits. Understand their needs, craft solutions, and close the deal. Contribute to Team Success: Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment to drive shared success. Qualifications and Experience Required: Proven Sales Expertise: A track record of closing high-value sales, with experience in selling services and solutions. Industry Knowledge: Background in engineering, preferably within the battery or automotive sectors . Experience working for a consultancy that sells services is a strong advantage. Technical Background: A degree or HND in a relevant scientific, engineering, or manufacturing discipline, with an understanding of product development. Relationship Building: Exceptional customer interfacing skills with the ability to establish trust and deliver tailored solutions. Self-Starter: The confidence to work independently, set goals, and consistently exceed expectations. Professional Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Programme. Why Join Us?
