As a Software Engineer, you'll join the project team early in a major initiative, working on training software tools for the UK military. You'll collaborate with a global team to learn and customise an advanced simulation product for UK needs and integrate it with various systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications & services using C# and .NET Core Integrate systems using Apache Kafka Utilise Protobuf and FlatBuffers for efficient data serialisation Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver cutting-edge simulation solutions Essential Skills: Expertise in C# and .NET Core development Proficiency in web interfaces (gRPC, WebAPI/REST) Strong software architecture and design skills Desirable Skills: Experience with constructive simulation and distributed systems Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Docker, and PostgreSQL Security Requirements: Candidates must be eligible for BPSS and SC clearance and hold a UK passport.
