Job Description

Full Time Business Development Manager - Office & Field based Safe Environment are looking to recruit an experienced and successful Business Development Manager to further develop the business into new areas, increase business within our existing service provision and enhance the quality of our current services. We are a small family run business who appreciate and look after our people and like to share our successes. The role will report directly to the Managing Director. We provide demolition, asbestos removal and surveys, reinstatement works and other property compliance products including an online portal and training. We offer an attractive basic package with the potential to lead into a Senior position with uncapped commission and realistic earnings of £50-60k for a hardworking and driven candidate. The Role & it's Responsibilities: - Generating new leads over the phone, account management and closing sales with new and existing clients - Nurturing existing client relationships - Working within our overall sales strategy and developing new methods to support this - Developing and completing telesales & email campaigns to achieve targets - Supporting our online presence and social media campaigns - Self managing the sales process, and ensuring excellent customer service - Utilising and maintaining of the CRM system - Following up with prospective clients - Developing and Maintaining market knowledge & following our marketing strategy Required Skills & Experience: - Relevant Degree or A level (or equivalent) qualification (Desired - not required) - Driving license & own vehicle - required - Experience in a similar, outbound and inbound B2B & B2C sales role Essential Personal Attributes: - A proactive outbound sales approach - Punctual and committed - Diligent and tenacious approach to meeting tight deadlines - Excellent telephone manner and relationship building skills - Excellent written communication skills & ICT literacy - Confident, enthusiastic and willing to learn - Self motivated and managed - Work effectively as part of a team - Be willing to 'muck in' and help in other areas of the business as required The role is office/field based and hours will be 40 per week, Monday to Friday with some flexibility both ways. Salary & Benefits - £25,000 - £30,000 basic salary (pro rata) commission (Realistic OTE of £50-£60,000 (uncapped)) - depending on experience - 31 days annual leave entitlement (including Christmas shutdown) - Company pension As a business we offer excellent opportunities for development and promotion and this role particularly has a great opportunity to develop into a Business Development/Sales Director role for the right candidate.
