Private Client Tax Manager

Role: Private Client Tax Manager Location: Exeter Salary: £50-60k Overview: Are you an experienced private client tax professional with a passion for providing tailored tax solutions? My client is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong background in private client tax and are eager to make a meaningful impact, I want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing comprehensive tax planning and advisory services. Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of personal tax returns, including those of individuals, families, and trusts. Advising clients on a range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and international tax issues. Leading and developing a team of junior tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Identifying and mitigating potential tax risks, offering proactive solutions. Liaising with external stakeholders, including HMRC, other professionals, and clients' legal advisors. Keeping up to date with tax legislation and providing clients with timely, strategic advice. Skills and Experience: ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification (or equivalent experience). Significant experience in private client tax advisory, ideally gained in a professional services environment. Strong technical knowledge of personal tax matters, including experience with trusts, estates, and international taxation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues to clients clearly and concisely. Strong leadership and people management skills. A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Thanks for considering an application.
