Management Accountant

Reed Finance are pleased to be partnering with a historic organisation in Central Oxford who are seeking a Qualified Management Accountant to join their growing finance function. Working within a team of 8 and reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional seeking the chance to develop their skills and expand their career within a progressive team environment. You will be widely involved in the overall provision of the quality processes and liaise with other areas of the business. Key Responsibilities: Support budgeting, management accounting, reporting, and analysis. Act as backup for the Controller and College Accountant as needed. Execute budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting. Support endowment administration activities, including working with external service providers. Manage project accounting activities for College subsidiaries. Assist with College taxation affairs, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation tax. Participate in financial process reviews, data analysis, and ad hoc projects. This role is best suited to a candidate with strong Excel skills, including Vlookup and Pivot tables, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial issues effectively with different areas of the business, including non-finance employees.
