Job Description
Stores/Admin Assistant- 440436 Start Date: ASAP Contract - 6 Months Pay Rate: £150 per day (umbrella) – Inside IR35 Location: Leatherhead Requirements: Must hold a full driver's license Job Summary We are seeking a Stores/Admin Assistant to efficiently manage the storage, organization, and distribution of materials and stock within our stores. The role includes receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. The position also involves managing our vehicle fleet and test/plant equipment while supporting the onsite PM/PE team with administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments of materials and products. Inspect and verify the accuracy and condition of received items. Report and document any discrepancies or damages. Storage and Organization: Safely store items in designated warehouse locations. Maintain a clean, organized storage area. Ensure proper labeling and identification of products. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using relevant tools or software. Conduct regular stock counts to reconcile inventory levels. Assist in ordering materials to replenish stock for ongoing and new projects. Documentation: Keep detailed records of all received and dispatched items. Generate inventory reports on stock levels and movements. Assist with paperwork for shipping and receiving processes. Equipment & Office Maintenance Maintain PAT testing records and yearly fire inspections. Ensure proper care and upkeep of stores equipment. Manage COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) records. Oversee the maintenance and annual calibration of network test equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues. Fleet Management Conduct weekly vehicle checks. Arrange and manage yearly servicing, MOTs, and safety inspections. Schedule and oversee vehicle repairs as required. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in store management or a similar role is desirable. Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
