Java Developer Spring API Security

Java Developer / Software Engineer (Spring API Security) Cambridge / WFH to £75k Are you a backend focussed Java technologist looking for an opportunity to progress your career whilst working on complex and interesting systems with continual learning opportunities? You could be joining a market leading software house that's remote access product is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide. As a Java Developer within the Platform team you'll develop the cloud services that underpin all the core technology, working across the full development lifecycle with scalability, security, data consistency and performance trade-offs in cloud services in mind. You'll join a collaborative Agile team using TDD, Pair Programming, group design sessions and code review to produce high quality software. Location / WFH: There's a friendly and supportive team environment, you'll be able to work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Cambridge office once a month. About You: You have strong Java development experience within a microservices environment You have experience with API design and development You're able to design scalable solutions for both small and large projects You have a good appreciation of security and have worked in an ISO 27001 accredited environment You're happy to collaborate in an Agile environment with TDD, code reviews and Pair Programming You have a strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures You have a good understanding of networking technologies, protocols e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, multicast and security principles Ideally you will also have some experience with Python and / or Golang, Ansible and Event Driven architecture (although you can pick these up on the job) You have a relevant degree e.g. Computer Science What's in it for you: As a Java Developer / Software Engineer you'll earn a competitive salary: Salary to £75k Bonus Pension Private Medical Care Life Assurance Travel Insurance Subsidised gym membership and a range of other perks Apply now to find out more about this Java Developer / Software Engineer (Spring API Security) opportunity.
