Design Engineer - Senior

We are currently on the search for an experienced Senior Product Design Engineer with 5 years of design service experience and is capable of taking projects from early-stage concept right through to manufacturing. Job Profile : As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: Leadership of the conceptualization and technical developments of innovative and breakthrough technology and products within various industries including but not restricted to: Consumer Goods (Electronics & Technology), Medical Devices, FMCG, Industrial etc. Creating strong propositions whilst using a wide range of ideation techniques and dealing directly with clients to ensure that you are meeting client requirements and ensuring that these ideas are achievable Use of 3D CAD and being able to create high quality sketches and surface models Development of models, design of proof-of-concept test rigs and creation of fully operational prototypes Working closely with cross-functional teams and offering training and support to others to ensure that all design milestones are met Job Requirements : To be considered for the role of Senior Product Design Engineer, you must have the following to be considered: Degree qualified in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplines 4 years of design service experience within Consumer or Medical work environment Advanced user of SolidWorks and/or CREO Has proven skills with rapid prototyping, surface modelling and high-quality sketching Has extensive experience in DFM and DFA (design for manufacture) Has worked on projects from concept right through to production Benefits : As a Senior Product Design Engineer you will receive the following benefits: Salary circa up to €55k per annum dependent on experience Bonus Scheme based on performance Flexible working 25 days holidays Bank Holidays Full training and professional development If you would like to be considered for this position, please click the ' APPLY ' button below.
