FLT Driver/ Production Operative

FLT Driver/Setting Operative - Afternoons We are currently recruiting for our Client based in Leeds, LS10 for a Trainee Setter/ Operator to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for applicants with any kind of Production/ Manufacturing background who have an interest in training as a Setter. You must hold a Valid in Date Counterbalance FLT Licence You will be required for the first 12 weeks to attend Monday to Friday 0600 – 1400. The hours once trained would be Monday to Friday 1330 – 2200. Key Responsibilities • Set up and Operate power presses according to job specifications • Inspect completed parts for quality and conformance to specifications • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with the press • Assist in the training of operators as required. • Follow all safety protocols and ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized Skills Required • Technical background with an interest in a range of machinery and tooling. • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and the ability to self-motivate. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. • Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Counterbalance FLT licence. • Experience within the steel manufacturing environment, operating hydraulic & mechanical presses is advantageous. Working Hours You will be required for the first 12 weeks to attend Monday to Friday 0600 – 1400. The Hours once trained would be Monday to Friday The Factory runs over 2 shifts. Flexibility is required for this role to cover holidays occasionally. Salary Hourly Rate £12.12 ADZN1_UKTJ
