Job Description

BARRON HEATING are a small family run business, established in 1982. We are renowned for carrying out quality plumbing and heating work in Swindon and the surrounding areas and are proud to say the majority of our work comes from word of mouth and many of our customers have been with us for decades. We are looking for a key person to work Part-Time (20- 25 hours Mon - Fri) within our office in West Swindon. This position involves mainly Accounts duties (sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, bacs payments, banking, reconciliation etc. so the successful candidate will need to be very competent and have lots of previous office experience working on their own using the SAGE package. This role requires excellent verbal and written customer service skills using Microsoft Office and Outlook as you will be the first point of contact for our customers and suppliers. Other tasks are to prepare quotations and carry out general administrative tasks and ad hoc duties required in the running of a small office. Often working alone in our busy office the ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to prioritise using their initiative to work efficiently at all times.
