Accounts Admin Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Admin Assistant to work at our Heywood office (located just off Junction 19 of the M62, North Manchester.) The position will be solely office based, ie. no remote working available. About us: We are a 25 year old family engineering company providing specialist engineering services to clients throughout the UK. We have a wonderful culture amongst our employees, and most of our employees have been with us for 10 years. Our aim is to consistently provide a great service to our clients. Our office has a relaxed environment where we get the work done whilst having fun at the same time. Responsibilities: Support accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running accountancy software (sales invoices, purchase invoices & purchase orders etc.) Reconciling bank statements Protecting organisations information by keeping confidential Processing engineers job sheets & timesheets Preparing and costing job sheets for clients invoices Maintaining our in-house CRM system (for which training will be provided), and carrying out any additional administrative duties as required Working Hours & Benefits: The position is initially offered on a part-time basis (25 - 27.5 hours per week), but a full-time position may become available in the future. Benefits include company pension, holidays etc, and we can also be flexible with working hours which may suit those with children of school age. The salary range (depending on experience) is between £13 and £15 per hour Qualifications & Skills: The ideal candidate will bebe computer literate (competent with Microsoft Office etc) and have a confident telephone manner. Above all, they must be experienced in Accounts with XERO Accounts & Payroll essential Please note that applicants without experience in XERO will not be considered.
