Senior Linux Engineer

Embedded Linux Engineer 6 Months (Initially) Oxford/Hybrid (2 days on-site per week) £450-550 per day (Inside IR35) iO Associates is looking for an Embedded Linux Engineer to work on Autonomous vehicle platforms which includes multi-computers and various sensors. The key need for a contract is to focus on the network design that is central to performance and safety of the AV platform. The role responsibilities involve developing AV network architecture and solutions with the cutting-edge automotive grade sensors and computers. The skillset required is: Solid experience in enterprise or embedded systems network engineering. Proficiency in Embedded Linux, experience with kernel development, device drivers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS) Ability to work at scale (Automation and traceable deployment) Deep knowledge of Unix/Linux Network stacks and diagnostics. Hands-on experience with embedded computers and controllers, preferably in automotive or robotics.
