Eden Scott's client is seeking experienced paraplanner who is looking to take their next step in their career? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, driven paraplanner to join a leading financial planning firm based in either Edinburgh or Stirling. Our client is a well-established financial planning firm dedicated to providing expert advice and exceptional service to their clients. With a focus on delivering tailored financial solutions, our client pride themselves on their supportive, collaborative work environment. The current team is expanding, and are looking for an experienced paraplanner to help them to continue to grow and serve their clients with excellence. As a paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planners with the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial plans. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their financial services. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research on financial products, investments, pensions, and other relevant financial solutions to provide informed recommendations. Assist in the creation of client financial plans, including gathering and analysing data, preparing reports, and drafting recommendations for the financial planners. Ensure that all recommendations and advice adhere to regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and the firm's policies. Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, update them on the status of their plans, and ensure that their financial goals are on track. Prepare suitability reports, monitor client portfolios, and assist with data entry, documentation, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow. Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and financial products, ensuring that your knowledge is always current. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience as a paraplanner or in a similar role within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of financial planning processes, pensions, investments, and protection products. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently. Relevant qualifications such as Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent would be advantageous With flexible working hours and the option to work from either Edinburgh or Stirling, we prioritise your well-being.
