Behaviour Buddy - Secondary School (Bury) Location: BurySalary: £85-£100 per dayDuration: Long-term Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them develop both personally and academically? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Buddy to join a secondary school in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping them manage their behaviour and achieve their potential. The Role As a Behaviour Buddy, you will: Work 1:1 and with small groups to provide tailored behaviour support. Assist in managing challenging behaviours in the classroom and around the school. Build positive relationships with pupils to promote engagement and positive attitudes to learning. Support teaching staff in delivering lessons by maintaining a calm and productive classroom environment. Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s policies. Act as a mentor to pupils, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development. Requirements We are looking for a candidate who: Has experience working with young people with challenging behaviours, ideally in a school setting. Is resilient, patient, and confident in managing challenging situations. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to helping students succeed. Has a genuine passion for supporting young people to overcome challenges.
