Accountant

Accountant (Practice) County Down Salary Negotiable DOE McKinty Associates are pleased to be working an expanding accountancy practice based in County Down, who have a current need for an experienced Accountant to join their busy team due to a continued period of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm and work with a dedicated portfolio from a mixed client base. This position also offers a very competitive benefits package including: Holidays of 30 days with increase with length of service to 35 days and enhanced sick pay policy. We are happy to consider applications from candidates in the market for 4 or 5 days per week Main duties will include: Accounts preparation for a mix of Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies Manage and work closely with a portfolio of clients Prepare VAT returns and HMRC duties Bookkeeping duties using cloud-based software Prepare personal tax returns and corporations tax computations Essential eligibility criteria: Previous relevant experience in a in a small to medium sized practice environment (Essential) Either fully qualified or qualified by experience Excellent Accounting experience Be proficient with relevant accounting packages (QuickBooks or similar accountancy package) Have the ability to manage a busy and varied workload and meet deadlines Ability to liaise with clients across a range of sectors and able to add value Team player Keen eye for detail Effective communicator To apply for this role please forward your CV ASAP by clicking Apply below.
