Customer Care Coordinator – Midlands Rural Housing Location: Office based at Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire 35 hours per week - Working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch each day. Salary: £23,441 - £ 26,045 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Care Coordinator to join our small team and help us continue to make a positive difference to our customers and communities. About the role This is a fantastic role, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our customers' lives. You'll be one of three Coordinators, working as part of a busy team, where no two days are the same. Our Customer Care Coordinators play a key role in the organisation. They're the first point of contact for our customers – providing outstanding support, responding to and resolving queries, and accurately recording information. You'll be based at our head office in Coalville, Leicestershire. About you You'll have the passion to deliver a positive experience, to all our customers, all the time. There's no need for housing experience, but a background in contact centre work will help, along with the drive to always deliver an excellent service. You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to resolve customer issues efficiently, while maintaining a positive relationship. You'll need to be at ease with technology, be happy to multitask between different queries and media channels (email, web, customer portal, phone), and be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations or customers. You'll be a team player, with a positive can-do attitude, and a passion for helping others. You'll also need: to be educated to GCSE level (preferably including English and Maths) or have relevant experience and be highly competent using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive).
