Job title: Occupational Therapist Location: Elizabeth House Hospital , Leicester , LE3 6QR. Rate Of Pay: £21.63 an hour Shift Patterns: Part time 8 hours a week. Information about the Role: Occupational Therapist at Elizabeth your duties will include the following: Composing and articulating occupational therapy reports based on assessment and treatment. Responsible for the clinical Occupational Therapy provision for patients. To oversee the activity needs of the patients in and beyond care, ensuring that support is offered to care workers and activity staff to ensure adequate activity provision for patients. To undertake occupational therapy assessments and treatment. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with company and professional standards and provide activity/audit reports as required. To support the organisation, delivery, and monitoring of the service. Carry continuing responsibility for the co-ordination and assessment of patients' occupational therapy needs, along with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapy. Assess and provide equipment to aid rehabilitation and improve quality of life, ensuring that appropriate instruction, training and safety awareness is given where needed. Promote maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to needs Information about the Service: Elizabeth House Hospital has 30 mental health beds across four units. The Hospital is able to offer a 24 hour acute admission within a safe and secure environment. . Necessary Experience or Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with appropriate professional body (HCPC) Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people. At least 6-months experience of working as an Occupational Therapist. Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
