Job title: Care Team Leader Location: White Windows, Valorum Care ,Halifax HX6 1BH,United Kingdom Rate Of Pay: £11.55 Shift Patterns: 33.75 hrs a Week - Full Time, permanent, Information about the Role: Working as a Care Team Leader at White Windows your duties will include the following: · Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Support Workers. · Administer medication, conduct assessments. · Ensure that care plans are kept up to date. · Respect the dignity and preferences of the people we support as well playing your own part in establishing a home where everyone feels safe and confident to live their best life. · Be involved and deliver daily activities to the people we support. · Manage and help organise the duty rota. · Carrying out duties as requested by senior management. Information about the Service: White Windows is a wheelchair accessible residential home providing support and accommodation for up to 25 individuals who have a physical disability or neurological condition. We support individuals who may have cerebral palsy, an acquired brain injury or stroke, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida or hydrocephalus, as well as individuals living with Parkinson’s or Huntington’s Diseases. Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Team Leader: · NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care. · Ideally 6 month or more experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant / Senior Support Worker / Team Leader or Deputy Manager in Mental Health. · Passionate about making a difference in someone else’s life. · Good communication skills. · Able handle sometimes challenging situations. · Fun, energetic and able to build relationships with many different people.
