No Offer Description This project will focus on distribution networks and communities that include low-head hydroelectric plants and pumped hydro storage, together with non-dispatchable wind and solar local generation. It will develop dynamic models to be used for the development of a day-ahead and intraday scheduling procedure of the hydro units considering the storage capabilities and of the other dispatchable energy resources available in the test cases. The scheduling procedure aims at reducing the electricity procurement costs of the community, allowing peer-to-peer transactions between the prosumers, and facilitating the participation of the community in local and global markets for the provision of ancillary services.
