Senior Data Analyst - Power BI

Experience range : 6-9 Years Location : ITPL Whitefield, Bengaluru Key Responsibilities : - Conduct in-depth data analysis using various statistical and analytical techniques. - Develop and maintain complex data models and visualizations using Power BI. - Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for business stakeholders. - Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic business decisions. - Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports to communicate findings effectively. - Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes. - Work closely with data engineers to ensure data quality and integrity. - Perform data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment activities. - Develop and implement data governance and security best practices. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. - Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data analysis and visualization technologies. Required Skills & Experience : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively. - Excellent hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualizations, dashboards). - Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, data manipulation, database design). - Experience with Python (data manipulation, scripting, machine learning libraries). - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. - Experience with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and Agile methodologies. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Experience working with large datasets and handling high volumes of data. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Preferred Skills & Experience : - Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques. - Experience with data visualization tools beyond Power BI (Tableau). - Experience in a specific industry (finance, healthcare, e-commerce) (ref:hirist.tech)
