SAP PP/QM Consultant - Support & Implementation

SAP Production Planning (PP) & Quality Management (QM) Consultant Job Description : Seeking a talented and experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) & Quality Management (QM) Consultant to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting our consulting projects across various phases, leveraging your expertise in SAP PP, QM, and S/4 HANA. We are looking for a passionate professional with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a proven track record in implementing and supporting SAP solutions. Responsibilities : - Collaborate with the consulting team throughout project lifecycles, including effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design, and deployment of SAP PP and QM functionalities. - Contribute to organizational initiatives and ensure adherence to company guidelines and processes. - Develop clear and concise Functional Specifications (FS) for new functionalities or enhancements. - Coordinate effectively with the ABAP development team to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. - Support testing activities by preparing test plans, test scripts, and actively participating in user acceptance testing (UAT). - Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SAP PP, QM, and S/4 HANA. Technical and Professional Qualifications : - Strong experience in SAP PP and QM modules, with in-depth knowledge of S/4 HANA or ECC systems. - Proven experience in SAP implementation and support projects within the manufacturing industry. - Expertise in core PP functionalities : 1. Master Data (Material Master, Bill of Materials, Routing/Recipe, Work Center, Production Versions) 2. Material Requirement Planning (MTO, MTS) 3. Batch Management and Production Order Execution 4. Production Integration Areas and End-to-End Configuration of Production Planning - Familiarity with Master Data Uploading tools like LSMW and BDC. - Experience in SAP PP-QM integration and capacity planning. - Working knowledge of FIORI applications. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Bonus Points : - Experience with SAP interfaces and data migration tools (e., ALE, IDoc). - Experience in cloud-based SAP deployments (e., SAP on Azure). - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (ref:hirist.tech)
