Job Title : Data Integration Architect Purpose of the Position : We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with a deep understanding of ETL processes, particularly with Informatica, and a solid foundation in Oracle and Azure Data Lake. The ideal candidate should excel in data integration and data modelling, with a proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive source-target mapping documents. This position calls for a strategic thinker who can lead the design and implementation of data architectures that align with business objectives. Work Location : Pune/Nagpur/ Bengaluru/ Chennai Key Result Areas and Activities : Source-Target Mapping : - Develop detailed source-target mapping documents, including transformation logic, data flow diagrams, and data lineage. - Review and validate mapping documents with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy. Technical Leadership : - Lead the design and architecture of ETL processes using Informatica, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. - Provide guidance and support to Informatica developers and troubleshoot development issues. Data Integration & Architecture : - Design and implement data integration solutions utilizing Informatica, Oracle, and Azure Data Lake. - Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reusability. Collaboration & Communication : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data integration projects. - Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Work and Technical Experience : Essential Skills : - Excellent understanding of ETL/ELT principles and the tools/technologies used to implement them. - Expertise in Informatica Power Center and IDMC DI. - Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL. - Basic understanding of Azure Data Lake and cloud-based data storage solutions. - Experience in data modelling, data integration, and data warehousing. - Understanding of data governance and data quality principles with proven ability to create detailed source target mapping documents. Desirable Skills : - Certifications in Informatica, Oracle, or Azure - Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and project management tools like Jira. - Understanding of good practices - Research focused mindset Qualifications : - 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years working with Informatica. - 3 years of experience as an ETL/Data Architect. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus) - Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods (ref:hirist.tech)
