Mobile Automation Test Engineer - Appium

Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile test automation frameworks using Appium or other relevant tools. - Create and maintain reusable test scripts and modules. - Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and requirements. - Design and develop comprehensive test cases to cover various test scenarios. - Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and issues. - Generate detailed test reports and metrics. - Log and track defects using defect tracking tools. - Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues. - Monitor defect trends and identify potential issues. - Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure timely and reliable software delivery. - Configure and maintain automated testing tools and environments. - Conduct performance testing to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance. - Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement. - Guide and mentor junior team members. - Collaborate with development teams to improve testing processes and methodologies. Required Skills and Experience : - 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. - Strong programming skills in Java or other relevant programming languages. - Expertise in mobile test automation tools like Appium, Calabash, or Perfecto. - Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit. - Knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their specific testing challenges. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills (ref:hirist.tech)
