Head of Group Accounting

This is a great opportunity to join a brilliant business based on the outskirts of Maidstone and lead the Financial Accounting team through the busy audit period. This is initially a 6 month interim role. Client Details Acquisitive and successful business with a collaborative culture and a very friendly finance team. Description As Interim Head of Financial Accounting and Group Reporting you will be responsible for leading a team through the busy audit period. Other responsibilities will include: Preparation of the statutory accounts under UK GAAP Consolidating 20-30 entities using Excel Dealing with auditors queries and tax queries Profile My client is looking for someone with the following experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant Production of consolidated accounts Dealing with audit and tax queries Managing a team Production of accounts under UK GAAP / IFRS The ability to travel to the office on the outskirts of Maidstone 3-4 days per week Available to start by the beginning of February at the latest Job Offer A day rate commensurate with experience, inside IR35 The opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week
