Auto Electrician

Auto Electrician Hours: 39 hours/week - Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:30am - 3pm Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience . As a successful Auto Electrician, your duties will include but not be limited to: Touseelectronic diagnostic equipment todiagnose electrical issues within avehicle andmake /modify electrical harnesses. Theabilitytoconductautoelectricaltasksonmodernspecialistvehicles Wiringupofelectricalcomponentsandinstallationsofwiringlooms Toexaminevehiclesanddiagnosenon-routinedefects,oradditionalfaultseither inthe workshop or during road tests Abilitytouserelatedtoolstoagood standard Conductingfaultfindinganddiagnosticwork,whennecessary,onallvehicles. InstallnewinteriorelectricsthisincludesGPS,Camerasystemsetc InstallhighvoltagebatteriesintoourElectricSweepers Ensureallworkiscompletedsafelyandcomplieswithretailer,manufacturer,and industry guidelines ToutilizetheCompany'sfacilitiesandprocessestomaximizeyourproductivity on vehicles Ensureallcorrectpaperworkiscompletedandaccuraterecordsmaintained Ensurethatalltheequipment provided bytheCompany iskeptingoodcondition andin full working order. Workonflowlinewhen required. Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safetyissuestocreateahealthyandsafeworkingenvironment.Thisincludesensuring that personal belongings and work-related tools and materials are kept in the designated areas. Person Specification Essential Effective Communication Able to read and understand electrical circuit drawings Previous auto electrical experience on HGV Motivated/Driven Able to effectively absorb knowledge Able to work with minimal supervision Can-Do attitude Desirable Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical circuits Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar Clean driving licence/LGV Professional appearance and presentation If you are interested this Auto Electrician role, then please apply today to be considered for the role.
