This is a new and very exciting role and is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced “think on move” type environment and work with some of the best in the industry. You will be responsible for firm's Financial Crime team of 5 and will work with and report to the CCO, this new position is to provide oversight of, and lead a growing, ambitious and curious 2nd line of defence team with responsibility for: The Head of Financial Crime will also play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of the company’s financial crime policies and procedures will also work very closely with IT as the firm look to further optimise their current controls and processes through the use of tech and automation. Working with both in-house TECH engineers and 3rd party vendors. What we are looking for: You will have held a similar position before and must have significant business banking experience You will have been a head of function financial crime 2nd line position before. You will be directly line managing people and can demonstrate a leadership style focussed on developing and retaining talent. You will have been instrumental in the betterment and enhancement of FCC framework and tech. You will also have experience presenting reports and verbal updates on Financial Crime at the sub committees of ExCo, for example the Risk Management Committee and the Operating Committee.
