Duties of a Multiskilled Field Service Engineer : Assess client equipment on-site to determine condition and functionality, diagnosing issues and performing repairs to optimise performance. Independently handle field-based work across various client locations and environments. Conduct both reactive and proactive maintenance to minimise downtime and boost reliability. Recommend improvements to client procedures for enhanced efficiency. Promote company products and identify opportunities to meet client needs. Apply technical expertise to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain professionalism, document work accurately, and report findings to clients and the service team. Skills and experience required of a Multiskilled Field Service Engineer: 5 years in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plant applications. Expertise in conveyor belt and sortation systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic components), fault-finding, troubleshooting, PLC programming, and interpreting engineering drawings. Engineering degree or technical certification (electrical/mechanical), ECS and IPAF cards, and a valid driver's license. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations; experience in safe, clean work environments. Methodical, organised, self-motivated, effective under pressure, with professional communication skills. This role provides a company vehicle, an expenses card, and mobile electronic devices.
