Apply for this Tax Senior job in Taunton today Role Responsibilities Prepare self-assessment tax returns and calculate tax liabilities Produce forms P11D and draft income and expenditure accounts, including rental accounts Liaise directly with clients, providing clear and effective communication Support the Tax Manager with HMRC investigations and one-off assignments such as capital allowance reviews Handle correspondence with HMRC and other external stakeholders like solicitors, accountants, and financial advisors Contribute to future tax planning for high-net-worth individuals Balance a focus on compliance with opportunities to provide advisory services About the Firm This innovative and progressive accountancy and tax advisory firm has a reputation for excellence, serving clients across the UK from their Somerset base. Candidate Requirements Qualifications: ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA (or part-qualified). Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax or accountancy role. Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey complex tax issues in a straightforward way. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. Proficiency in IT systems and software.
