Building Services Data Centre Engineer

Building Services Engineer Monday to Friday Data Centre Essex/Hertfordshire border up to £52,000 Per annum My client is looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to be based in a Data Centre by the Essex/Hertfordshire border. A successful candidatewill be electrically or mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) and have a background in critical environments. Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, and mechanical maintenance across this large data centre. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £52,000, as well as further training and career progression. Package Up to £52,000 per annum Uniform and Tools Provided 25 days holiday Overtime Available Pension Internal Progression & Development Hours of work Monday to Friday 08:00 am 17:00 pm Key Duties & Responsibilities Operational understanding of all MEP systems within the Critical Facility/Data Centre in a competent, and confident manner. Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner. Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them. Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required. Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues. Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client. Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency. Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
