Senior Power BI Developer - Data Analytics

Experience Requirement : 3 Years. Location : Pune, Bangalore. Work Mode : Hybrid. We are looking for candidates who are not working or not associated with any organization as project needs to be kicked off soon. Responsibilities : - Ownership to ensure the proposed design/ architecture, deliverables meets the client expectation and solves the business problem with high degree of quality - Own responsibility to deliver multiple projects across all phases - right from discovery/ POC to managing operations - Partner with Project Manager and assist in project planning, execution and monitoring. - Work in tandem with global counterparts in planning and accomplishing planned activities, identification or risks and mitigation strategy - Engage in activities related to project deliverables, design brainstorming / discussion, status updates, innovation/ improvements, etc. - Collaborate with other internal expertise teams Architects, Validation/ testing, etc to ensure best in class technology solution - Outlook for continuous improvement, innovation and provide necessary mentorship and guidance to the immediate team members - Assist Senior Leadership on building POV on new technology or problem solving, Innovation to build firm intellectual capital. Qualification & Experience : - Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines;. - 3 years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements - At least with 2 years of hand on experience in designing complex solutions and Report visualizations on Power BI. - Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills. - Expert in data modeling and model optimizations using Power Query(M), SQL, Dataflows and Advanced DAX. - Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and programming ability. - Expert in optimizing report performance, handling security, configuring dashboards, apps and app workspaces by using Microsoft Power BI Desktop, and configuring dashboards by using the Power BI service. - Proven ability to create reports and dashboards from various data sources like SQL server, SSIS, Redshift, data extracts, excel files, relation, non-relational data sources including dynamic/API based data - In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with SQL. - Practical knowledge on how to create efficient datasets from voluminous data sources and increase reusability of datasets in reports yet not compromising response time of the reports. - Strong oral and written communication skills - We are a global firm; fluency in English is required. Additional Skills : - Strong client presence. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts to all audiences - Ability to work in virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects - Knowledge of current data modeling, and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices - Willingness to travel to other global offices as needed to work with client or other internal project teams. - PBI certifications like DA 100 (ref:hirist.tech)
