MSBI Developer - SSIS/SSRS

Key Responsibilities : 1. ETL Development : - Create and manage SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Design and implement ETL strategies and workflows to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timeliness. - Perform Cross Environment Data Transfers between various data sources and environments. 2. Reporting : - Develop SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports for business intelligence and performance tracking. - Design and create interactive reports for end-users based on business requirements. 3. Project Planning and Management : - Create Project Plans and work on defining Implementation Strategy for data integration and reporting solutions. - Provide end-to-end deliverables for data load and quality assessment, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met. 4. Customer Communication and Management Reporting : - Handle customer communications, including reporting and addressing any issues related to data quality or integration. - Provide management reporting and ensure the timely resolution of issues that may arise during project execution. 5. Data Quality Assessment : - Ensure high data quality standards are maintained throughout the ETL process. - Monitor, assess, and improve data quality during transfers between systems. Key Requirements : Technical Skills : - Must-have : Experience with MSBI (SSIS, SSRS). - Good-to-have : Experience with SQL Server and SSIS for database management and ETL processes. - Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and cross-environment data transfers. - Proficiency in SQL, data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Soft Skills : - Strong communication skills for effective customer communication and management reporting. - Ability to create and manage Project Plans with strong attention to deadlines and deliverables. - Ability to work in a team and handle cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders. Experience : - Minimum 5 years of experience in MSBI (SSIS, SSRS) development and implementation. - Previous experience handling ETL processes, data quality assessments, and reporting for business intelligence. Certifications (Preferred) : Microsoft certifications related to SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS would be a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
