Delphi Developer

Job Description : - We are looking for an experienced Delphi Developer to join our team. - The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in the financial or business software domain. - You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications with a focus on Embarcadero Delphi, SQL, and stored procedures. - This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in object-oriented programming, Delphi, and business software solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications using Embarcadero Delphi. - Design and implement complex software solutions with a focus on Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles. - Work with Intraweb for web application development and design user-friendly interfaces. - Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure their integration with the application's backend (primarily Microsoft SQL Server). - Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure the team adheres to best practices. - Identify areas for improvement in application architecture, performance, and code quality. - Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, providing timely resolutions. - Implement solutions that improve the scalability, performance, and reliability of the application. - Maintain and enhance legacy applications to ensure ongoing business functionality and security. - Use version control systems (e.g , Git, SVN) to manage code and ensure that changes are tracked and properly documented. - Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, technical processes, and development best practices. - Ensure software is delivered with high quality by testing code for bugs, vulnerabilities, and performance issues. - Collaborate with QA teams to assist in the identification and resolution of defects. - Participate in the development of unit tests and integration tests to ensure product reliability. - Mentor junior developers and assist in their growth by providing technical guidance and support. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, product managers, and system architects to deliver the product successfully. Experience : - A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or business software development. - Strong programming skills in Embarcadero Delphi, including deep knowledge of the VCL (Visual Component Library) and FireMonkey framework. - Experience in Intraweb for developing web applications. - Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and practices. - Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures with experience working with Microsoft SQL Server. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, or similar. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex software issues. - Experience in developing and deploying financial applications, especially in business-critical environments. - Knowledge of database design and optimization, including working with relational databases and large data sets (ref:hirist.tech)
