Interim Management AccountantLocation: ChesterfieldSalary: Up £60,000Length: 6 Month FTCElevation Senior Finance are partnering with a successful and fast-growing business in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for their team. The company are located in Chesterfield, but they have hybrid working and you will only need to go into the office one day each week.This is a high-profile role within the business as you will have a lot of exposure to the senior management team. Your ability to successfully communicate with non-financial managers and department heads will be key to your success in the role.You will be responsible for a team of 3 who are responsible for preparing the management accounts for the UK business. You will be responsible for analysing the month-end numbers and producing a detailed management pack. Responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly group management accounts Review of P&L Analysis reporting Presentation of numbers to senior management team Management of customer rebates, reconciliation and approval of payment Preparation of UK VAT return Reporting of daily cashflow for group Management of a small team covering bank reconciliations, payments, expenses and company credit cards Assistance with preparation of year end audit for group Support for Finance Manager and Finance Director Commercial reporting - sales / margin analysis Calculation of sales commissions and bonus payments Process / system improvements Support company wide projects Key skills / qualifications: Qualified Accountant - ACCA / CIMA / ACA Previous experience in a management accounting role Excellent problem solving skills Strong Excel skills, including good knowledge of using pivot table, lookups, sumifs Strong stakeholder engagement skills Team management experience desirable This is a great role with the potential for career progression.
