Job Description

As Product Quality Specialist you will have responsibility across the whole product lifecycle within one or more Product Categories and work in an innovative and diversified environment. You will actively contribute to the quality heritage from the Product Definition phase to the introduction into the Market until the product phase out. You will take care of investigating, initiating and following up on the continuous improvement for our household products. Main Duties Active participation in the multinational project teams for a specific product category Determination of Quality Requirements for each product and project Thorough evaluation of product designs and construction Ownership of all product improvement corrective actions applying statistical trend data, 8D and root cause analysis techniques Direct alignment with manufacturers, Technical Service & worldwide Quality teams Achieve performance results in line with company / departmental business objectives Successfully deliver on time, all specific quality requirements as identified within the Group Product Development process Coordinate and liaise with the Group Quality resources globally to ensure those quality requirements are achieved Manage and report on quality-related processes Support the Technical Service team for all quality related field issues Report all quality findings with clear and concise communication both written and verbal. Skills and Knowledge Bachelor degree or above in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 5 years' experience with NPI on Electro / Mechanical Products Working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems Proven experience of process and/or system audit Experience of Supplier Quality Management Project management skills with focus on all aspects of a project, such as quality, costs and timing Methodological skills in the area of quality management and the application of standards and tools such as 8D, APQP, ISIR, FMEA, Risk Analysis; ISO9001, Audits, QFD, SPC Excellent communication skills Computer literacy, and data manipulation and analysis Willing to travel when required both nationally and internationally Salary and Benefits £50K 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Hybrid Working (3 days office, 2 days home) Subsidised Canteen Excellent contributory pension Flexible benefits package Employee Assistance and Wellbeing Programme ADZN1_UKTJ
