Join Our Team as Head of Indirect Tax This is your chance to lead, innovate, and drive success in a standalone role that is pivotal to our global operations. What You'll Do: Lead Indirect Tax Strategy: Take charge of all indirect tax matters for Minerva’s global bunkering operations, ensuring compliance and driving efficiency. Support Global Expansion: Provide expert indirect tax guidance as we grow into new jurisdictions and ports, working closely with commercial teams and local operations. Strengthen Risk Management: Build a strong risk management culture with a focus on data accuracy, audit trails, and proactive solutions. Manage Audits & Disputes: Handle tax, customs, and excise audits with confidence, resolving disputes effectively and efficiently. Ensure Global Compliance: Oversee compliance with indirect tax licensing and reporting requirements worldwide, implementing robust controls across trading and accounting systems. Drive Process Improvements: Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce operational risks and improve efficiency. Optimize Tax Opportunities: Spot opportunities to optimize indirect tax and reduce the cash-flow impact of transactional taxes. Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with regional management, commercial teams, and the wider Mercuria Group Tax to ensure transparency and alignment across the business. What We're Looking For: Experience: 10 years of relevant indirect tax experience, with a strong understanding of customs and excise issues. Global Expertise: Experience working across multiple jurisdictions is highly preferred. Strong Communicator: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to build relationships across teams and regions. Why Join Us?
