With a flexible working arrangement (three days on-site, two days from home) and opportunities to work with a variety of retail and commercial environments, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives on independence and growth. The Foundation Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for: – Conducting planned and reactive fire risk assessments in low-risk environments and identifying appropriate risk control measures. – Preparing clear, legally compliant Fire Risk Assessment reports with actionable recommendations for clients. – Providing technical fire safety advice grounded in UK Fire Safety Legislation and associated standards. – Collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulators to implement fire safety plans and deliver bespoke support. – Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards while recording continuous professional development. The Foundation Fire Risk Assessor will have: – Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments, ideally with minimal supervision. – A Level 3 certificate from a nationally recognised training course (preferably registered as a competent fire risk assessor). – Familiarity with UK Fire Safety Legislation and best practices. – A confident, independent approach to managing workloads and communicating with clients. – A full, clean driving license and the flexibility to travel across the UK, including overnight stays.
